The Global Investigative Journalism Conference is the world’s premier international gathering of investigative journalists. Held every two years, the conferences have trained more than 5,000 journalists, sparked hundreds of investigations and collaborative projects, and played a key role in the global spread of investigative reporting over the past 16 years. The Global Investigative Journalism Conference is the premier international gathering of investigative and data journalists, held once every two years. This year, the 10th conference will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 16 to 19, and features more than 120 exciting panels, workshops, and networking sessions, ranging from cross-border collaboration and corruption to advanced data analysis. We’re offering over 100 fellowships for journalists from developing and transitioning countries to join us.

Global Investigative Journalism Network members have voted to hold the next Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Hamburg, Germany. GIJN’s member groups also voted to re-elect five current board members who were up for election this year, and two new board members.
We’re proud to announce that Uncovering Asia — the Asian Investigative Journalism Conference — is coming to Seoul, Korea, on October 5 to 7.
