Wisconsin Watch began in 2009 and is housed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism. The group is nonpartisan and nonprofit, and collaborates with local news organizations to increase the quality and quantity of investigative reporting in Wisconsin (population 6 million), while training current and future generations of investigative journalists. Many of the Center’s reports are produced in collaboration with other news organizations in Wisconsin and nationwide.
