Great that there is investigative journalism – but never enough. I have just heard terrible stories of exploitation of foreign workers around the earthquake damaged area of L’Aquila. These unfortunates are taken on for three of four months without pay or very little – Euro 50 per month! and just kept on a string until they give up and leave. They are unable to go to the police or take legal action. The only chance is a good journalistic investigation – but nothing has happened yet so this frightful slavery continues.
